At only 29 years old, Benjamin Hubert is perhaps one of the most prolific designers out there. Based in London, he’s worked for a number of high-end European manufacturers, including Devorm, Cappellini and De La Espada. For the latter, he created the wonderful Gabion table and Bow collection, which cemented his reputation as a designer to watch.

During the Milan furniture fair in April, he will be introducing works for four companies, and right off the bat his new lighting for Ligne Roset is garnering much attention. It consists of ceramic components held together with nothing but a silicone band. The light grey of the earthenware concrete lamp against the coloured silicone band creates a graphic contrast, emphasizing the product’s clean, almost classic form. It’s another success for Hubert.
