2017 MAD Travel Fellowship

Submission Deadline

Student May 14, 2017

The MAD Travel Fellowship is an annual fellowship that sponsors architecture students (undergraduate and graduate) for 10-day, individualized research travels. This year, five Chinese-nationality students will be sponsored for worldwide travel, and five global students will be sponsored for travel in China.

MAD Architects believes it is only through travel – the visceral experience of interacting with, and being influenced by, different spaces – that one can begin to understand ideas of context and thereby gain a deeper insight into the practice of architecture.

Applications will be judged by Ma Yansong, principal founder of MAD Architects.
