Barrique: The Third Life of Wood

Barriques – the specialty barrels used to age vintages – deserve a second life. Submissions are requested in two groups – entrants under the age of 26 and those older – for an original design that reuses the wood from these barrels to address the conventional table. Three winning designs in each category will be produced, with the designers receiving royalties on sales.
