We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial/ Product Designer to work with our global consumer client for a 6 month project.
The Industrial/Product Designer Will Be Responsible For
- Creating schedule and plan for development of new packaging
- Collaborating with multifunctional team to define design requirements
- Developing package design to meet critical requirements
- Collaborating with suppliers to prototype packaging
- Develop testing plan and execute testing to confirm package design
- Collaborate with supplier to qualify final package design
- Collaborate with plants to ensure quality running of pack on manufacturing line
The Industrial/ Product Designer Will Have
- Experience with new product or packaging development
- Project management experience
- Experience developing and testing technical testing
- A technical mindset with regard to packaging/product design
What will put you at the top of the list? A degree in a science and/or engineering field as well as knowledge of packaging technologies (blow molding, injection molding, corrugate etc.
The Industrial/ Product Designer will be onsite 40 hours/ week
