Your Role

Gensler’s Middle East Region is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to focus on several practice areas. This position spans both strategic and production work, and is expected to work closely with business developers.

Marketing at Gensler is a communications-based discipline. We create qualifications and proposals, presentations, and other deliverables daily, both print documents and electronic ones across multiple platforms. We look for a very high level of skill with InDesign, strong graphic design ability, a love of the design industry and a talent for telling stories about it, great client service, and impeccable organization and project management.

A Marketing Manager is the key owner and oversight of the production of materials and content that supports the office’s direct and indirect business development efforts. They work in partnership with senior staff to write, design and produce proposals, presentations and other material used to help the firm win work and grow online presence specific to the unique service offerings. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for the design business with the enthusiasm and drive to embed themselves within the creative studio structure.

What You Will Do

  • Working with principals and senior staff to produce proposals, presentations; research, design, write and produce all materials in alignment with FW brand standards.
  • Manage scheduling, production, and delivery of marketing materials.
  • Actively participate in strategy/planning sessions.
  • Develop new materials as needed to support business development activities.
  • Perform multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines.
  • Quickly learn and understand Gensler’s broad firm capabilities and offerings.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with the firm’s network of PR, Communications and
  • Marketing personnel.
  • Maintains resources & information systems: ordering materials, updating project documentation, resumes, image libraries, support award submissions.
  • Know Gensler’s portfolio of work, practice areas and broad firm capabilities.
  • Develop new materials as needed to support business development activities.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree, preferably with a focus in Marketing, Public Relations or Communication.
  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience in a marketing/communications position with a large, international architectural or engineering consultancy firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with grammatical accuracy.
  • Strong graphic communication and design skills.
  • Self-motivator with strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator.
  • Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and diverse project teams in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership and recognize competitive advantage opportunities for Gensler, leveraging these into marketing pitches.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) is a must.
