Corgan is actively recruiting a registered Project Interior Designer to join the firm in our Phoenix office location. Our firm offers unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth by offering a wide-range of project responsibilities and team leadership roles. Candidate will work on a variety of projects. Great opportunity for a highly motivated designer who wants to learn and assume responsibility with challenging projects in a creative work environment and the opportunity to mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual seeking progressively more responsible assignments on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities Include

  • Coordinating all phases of the design process in full life cycle projects
  • Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
  • Translating concepts and information into images
  • Execute the process of exploring and completing usable construction document detailing solutions
  • Manage contract administration responsibilities
  • Coordinate with a variety of consultants
  • Attend and conduct presentations
  • Coordinate with a variety of consultants
  • Provide leadership to staff
  • Manage client relations

Qualified candidates should exhibit strong organizational, design, detailing, teamwork and communication skills and be able to collaborate in a diverse project team. Strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and communication skills are also desired. Ideal candidates will be well rounded with a flexible attitude and an ability to collaborate in a team environment. Candidate must have experience coordinating projects teams in the translation of design concepts and information into images. Must have confident presentation ability.

A degree from CIDA accredited Interior Design Program is required, along with 8+ years of experience in commercial design, experience strongly preferred. AutoCAD proficiency required, Revit experience preferred as well as interest in sustainable design. Current professional registration required. Potential travel opportunities.
