Project Manager, Tatar Art Projects

Tatar Art Projects is seeking experienced candidates for an immediate opening for the position of Project Manager for our Corporate & Hospitality Art Consulting divisions. Candidates must have proven experience managing multiple projects as well as leading a team through all phases of a project with responsibilities including client management & communication, scope of work development, consultant coordination, budgeting, schedules, quality control and contract administration.

This person will also play an important and active role in new business development and the RFP process. Experience in responding to professional RFPs is an asset. The ability to draft content and design presentation packages is essential. Excellent written communication and graphic design skills are key to producing winning packages.

The successful candidate has a passion for design in all aspects of life. He/She has a keen understanding of the relationship between the built environment and the guest experience. We create visual narratives to support leading-edge design and luxury brands.

The Project Manager reports to the Principals and will be recognized for his or her ability to participate in the creative and the administrative. They have the skills, flexibility and adaptability to thrive as part of small team where a true multi-disciplinary skill set, leadership, and collaboration are the key to success.

Role and Responsibilities

Management of multiple Corporate Art Consulting Projects
Business Development: New Clients and Growing Existing Clients
RFP Management and Stewardship
Define scope of work, milestones, deliverables and budgets for assigned projects
Reviews technical site plans
Establishes accurate project standards, documentation and information to be utilized and coordinated through all project phases
Management and coordination of project schedule milestones within project scope, budget, time while maintaining design intent and client expectations
Manages all aspects of project budget from staff time allocations to third party expenses
Management of project team (internal and external)
Client management & communication
Monitors contractual scope of work relative to client or consultant requests. Identify areas which may fall outside established scope of work as additional services or extras, manages change orders
Use of project management tools and techniques to assist the team in keeping on track


The successful candidate will be in possession of an Interior Design Diploma/BA or equivalent, with 5-10 years experience in the Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent field.
The Project Manager must have above average skills and working experience with AutoCAD and Creative Suite; especially InDesign.
Ability to create/design impactful visual presentations to communicate a curated theme.
Ability to review, understand and interpret technical drawings
Strong leadership and time management skills; ability to plan and track all aspects of a project
