Organica Studio + Inc. is a full services design firm based out of West Toronto currently working on small to mid-size projects of diverse types. These include residential, institutional, & commercial, among others. We are seeking an architectural technologist with 4-6 years of Canadian professional working experience for a full-time position. The position would require the successful candidate to be involved in all project phases including schematic design, design development, contract document production and contract administration.

In addition, the successful candidate should have the following qualities:

  • Knowledge of residential and commercial construction with emphasis on construction detailing
  • Knowledge of wood frame, steel, concrete structures and associated exterior cladding systems
  • Sound knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and Zoning By-laws
  • Be capable of producing permit and tender drawings with limited assistance
  • Be capable of working under limited supervision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Advanced Revit Skills are required as the firm is 100% on BIM

*Please note that this position may involve some out of office meetings, site visits, permit submissions, etc., which may or may not be easily accessible by public transit. Access to a vehicle is ideal.
