Other Space Odysseys: Greg Lynn, Michael Maltzan, and Alessandro Poli

April 8 to September 6

Other Space Odysseys: Greg Lynn, Michael Maltzan, and Alessandro Poli, brings together three architects who address the possibility of visiting – and living in – outer space. The show highlights Lynn’s floating, citysized space stations; Maltzan’s Jet Propulsion Lab (now under construction for NASA in Pasadena); and Poli’s ’70s concept for a highway to the moon. Videos, drawings, models and photographs highlight the innovative tools and experiments that have been developed for testing extreme environments and the logistics for living in outer space. The show aims to provide an understanding of not just the industry’s future, but also the role architects will play in it.
