Improving accessibility is a continual process and a critical component in building an inclusive society. Incorporating accessibility within the built environment can present challenges, especially for existing, smaller-scale buildings. This seminar will provide participants with important insight into the regulatory framework and key concepts and criteria pertaining to Ontario Building Code requirements for accessibility. The seminar will also explore the application of key OBC provisions to smaller-scale retail, restaurant, and heritage-designated buildings.
