We Dissent… takes over 41 Cooper Gallery to present a large diversity of printed matters and artifacts (engravings, logo, posters, flyers, books, brochures, journals, T-shirts, buttons, etc.), created by women artists and designers, from the 1860s to today, at the intersection of feminism and social movements. Stéphanie Jeanjean, adjunct assistant professor of art history in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Alexander Tochilovsky, curator of the Herb Lubalin Study Center of Design and Typography, co-curated the exhibition.
