Since its inauguration in 2015, Dubai Design Week has become a platform for growing and enabling the region’s design scene. Aimed at celebrating the creative community in the Middle East, the annual event boasts a six-day program made up of over 200 events, including installations, exhibitions, pop-ups, talks and workshops, covering design across a range of disciplines including architecture, interiors and technology.
The heart of the festival is Downtown Design (12-15 November), the leading design fair in the Middle East for quality and original design. This year, the fair will present 180 international and regional brands across a wide range of product categories including furniture, lighting, carpets, accessories and much more.
