The York Architecture Association (YAA) and the Leeds Society of Architects (LSA) has the great pleasure to host this prestigious event in York which will bring together the RIBA Stirling Prize shortlist before the awards evening in London.

The event will take place at the stunning newly refurbished Art Deco cinema, the Everyman in York on 27 September 2018 from 6.30pm and we are delighted that Harry Gration MBE, presenter of BBC Look North for the Yorkshire region will be our host for the evening.

Kéré has held professorships at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, the Swiss Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio and last year accepted the professorship for “Architectural Design and Participation” at TU München in Germany. The work of the pratice has been shown in exhibitions at the Architecture Museum in Munich, Philadelphia Museum of Art and in group exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, New York and at ‘Sensing Spaces’ at the Royal Academy, London in 2014.
