Our London office is currently seeking an Architectural Research Assistant for one of our internal research projects. Our study investigates the effects of climate change on our cities and environment, and what the global solutions are for a carbon neutral human presence on Earth. 

Join us if you are an Architectural Research Assistant who has:

  • Excellent visualization and graphical skills, and a good eye for aesthetics 
  • Strong interest in research and design tasks, centered around sustainability, energy, global issues, and the environment
  • The ability to express design ideas quickly, clearly and succinctly
  • The ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team
  • A strong ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project
  • Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to take on constructive guidance in response to direction from managers, while being proactive and self-motivated
  • A keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy
  • Expert knowledge of Rhino and the full Adobe Suite package
  • The ability to work well in a dynamic team, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaborating

Experience and qualifications:

  • A post-graduate degree in architecture or an equivalent overseas qualification
  • 1-3 years professional experience post-graduation
  • Proven knowledge of research methods from relevant research projects within the fields of architecture, design and sustainability
