Prerequisites:
- Excellent drafting abilities using Revit and AutoCAD
- Able to pick up new software quickly
- Strong technical skills and problem solving ability
- Excellent communications and organization skills

- Ability to work well on a team as well as independently

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and production teams to produce fully coordinated architectural working drawings
- Effectively review and approve shop drawings
- Communicate with construction team to provide information and solve problems
- Effectively work with suppliers to coordinate details and stay up to date on product specifications
- Perform effective analysis of Ontario Building Code and ability to navigate various city/townships Zoning by-laws, and other regulations
Education & Experience:
- Professional degree in Architectural Technology or an Architecture degree
- 5+ years of work experience in an architectural practice
- Experience working with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities and/or suppliers
Assets:
- Sketchup, Rhino and/or other 3D modeling software skills
- LEED and/or Passive House accreditation and knowledge of sustainable technologies
- Member of the Ontario Association of Architects
- Member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada
