BLA Design Group is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist. This is an intermediate/senior-level position to assist and lead in the production of design and construction documents for single-family modern homes.

The ideal candidate has good technical knowledge of permitting sets and construction drawings. Bla Design’s Architectural Technologist position offers a flexible working schedule as well as opportunities to learn through close collaboration with designers, contractors, and consultants.

Proficiency Required:

• Revit
• Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite
• Construction Detailing
• BCBC & VBBL
• Zoning and Building By-laws
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in the production of construction drawings of modern houses
• Ability to prepare and assemble complete construction documents for permit applications and tender
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Organized, detail-oriented, pro-active, positive attitude, problem-solver, able to work in a creative, high-performance culture.
