dRMM Architects is an award-winning, design-led studio based in London Bridge. We are an international team working on a diverse and exciting range of projects.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious bid writer and architect / architectural assistant. You will work on architectural projects and also carry out bid and text writing for 50% of time. The position will be offered on a fixed-term contract initially.

The successful candidate will be a minimum of RIBA Part II qualified or equivalent and have enthusiasm and talent for writing. Experience with EOI / PQQ / ITT processes is essential.

You will be expected to write text for bid submissions as well as assisting the team on other writing tasks such as updating CVs, project descriptions and text for awards submissions. You will sometimes be required to manage bid processes such as laying out submissions in Indesign, uploading files onto tender management websites such as ProContract and filling in tender forms online. You will sometimes be required to liaise with consultants to obtain their text and fees for inclusion.

On the architectural side, you will be expected to work as part of a project team, research and develop architectural and technical solutions, prepare CAD drawings, schedules, reports, and visualisations, and coordinate designs with other consultants.

You will have excellent English communication skills, be well-organised and have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team. A high level of design competency is required and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Vectorworks and/or Revit is a minimum, SketchUp, rendering software and good model making skills are advantageous.
