Stickbulb LLC, an award winning Long Island City NYC based designer and manufacturer of high quality LED light fixtures, is currently seeking an intern to assist with marketing and business outreach. This is a PAID position and will offer unique insight and learning regarding the business and marketing operations of a rapidly expanding company. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Business Director for STICKBULB & two other company brands

Assist with research of new design markets and concepts
Assist with research, preparation and execution of focussed marketing campaigns
Assist with research and development of creative and compelling pitch angles
Assist with showroom operation, exhibition and event production
Catalog and maintain Stickbulb press library
Possible assistance with trade fairs and design events
Prepare and manage mailing of sample kits and materials for presentations
General office duties, filing, organization of office, studio and showroom
Perform all other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following as minimum qualifications:
A high degree of computer proficiency in MS Office, Indesign and CAD a plus
Extreme attention to detail and quality and a passion for contemporary lighting design
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and consistently produce quality work.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work with a team towards a common goal.
Enthusiastic and highly motivated
Be a clean and organized person
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel/Google Docs and Sheets
Communicates very well (verbal and written skills)
Ideal candidate will be available at least 4 days a week although 2 to 3 full day schedules may be considered. Typical work week is Monday – Friday with office hours of 10-6pm
