Li, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary design and art direction studio that develops brand and visual strategies for some of the leading references within the fashion, beauty and art industries. Clients and projects include: Givenchy, Sies Marjan, Kenzo, Jason Wu, Alexander Wang, Frédéric Malle, Phillip Lim, Rodarte, Hirshhorn Museum, The Museum of Contemporary Art LA, Vogue China, as well as several advertising and design projects for Max Mara, H&M, Sephora, and The Estée Lauder Companies.
Li, Inc. also designs numerous monographs and artists’ books, including “Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion, Architecture” published by Rizzoli; “Rodarte Catherine Opie Alec Soth” published by JRP; “Kaws” published by Rizzoli and the Aldrich Museum of Art; and “Francesco Vezzoli” published by Rizzoli.
Patrick Li is the founder and creative director of Li, Inc., established in New York in 2000. He is also the creative director of T Magazine, the New York Times Style Magazine.
We are seeking a design intern, available to start immediately. The candidate will contribute to the overall positive experience of the studio by helping keep the physical space pleasant, tidy, and organized and maintaining a positive attitude. They will collaborate with other designers in the studio as necessary to ensure the success of all studio projects.
The ideal candidate will have a background in graphic design and an interest in all aspects of image creation. The position offers opportunities for growth.
Other requirements include:
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work well, and thrive, in a team.
- Interest in art, fashion, design and the general cultural landscape.
- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat fluency required.
- After Effects, Premier, Lightroom, Bridge a plus.
- Capture One (Phase One) is a plus.
