Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity in their Toronto office for a Designer in the Interior Architecture & Design Group.

Designers are responsible for assisting the Project Manager by leading the consultants and internal resources, maintaining project drawings, and processing documentation during construction. You will support and assist in the development of space planning, concepts, creation of program documents, finish plans, specifications, and material selections.

The preferred qualifications for a Designer, Interior Architecture & Design are:

  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of Interior Design. Will also consider recent graduates.
  • Interior Design or Interior Architecture related Technical or Bachelor’s degree
  • AutoCAD and Revit skills
  • Adobe Suite and Sketch-up skills
  • Knowledge of Newforma
  • Knowledge of building codes
  • Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents preferred
