Gresham Smith is currently seeking an Experiential Graphic Designer to join their team in Tampa Bay.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to analyze, assemble, categorize, and organize different verbal and visual data elements.
  • The primary design role is to serve as part of the design team on experiential design projects preparing concepts and presentation materials and participate in design charettes.
  • Production – support the design team in preparation of design concepts, production of construction documents, etc.
  • Technical – Integrate XDW designs into the built environment of architectural and engineering building systems and elements of construction methods.
  • Presentations – prepare and participate in design presentation materials as needed.
  • Product research – Conduct product research based on specific project needs.
  • Support business development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years of signage and wayfinding-related experience.
  • A thorough understanding and awareness of materials, lighting, and fabrication methods are required.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify key design and wayfinding issues.
  • Computer skills: Required – Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite. Desired – AutoCAD, REVIT, and or 3-D rendering software.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works well within a team environment.
