Bennington College invites applications for a full-time Faculty Position in Architecture, beginning in the fall term of 2024. The ideal candidate will be an artist, designer, and educator who can engage undergraduate students to mobilize their intellect, imagination, and proprioceptive capabilities toward understanding what it means to contribute meaningfully to the built environment.

Candidates should be interested in offering courses with relevance across disciplines, and that build on fundamental drawing, modeling, and planning skills. Candidates with a lens on architecture as it relates to spatial justice and/or historical and contemporary art practice as demonstrated by built work, writing, or exhibitions are especially welcome to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with an M.Arch or equivalent attainment in a related field.
