The American Museum of Natural History seeks a Junior Graphic Designer in the Exhibitions Department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Graphic design for the renovation of an existing hall: helping develop and implement design strategies, initial sketching, developing ideas, producing elevations, making templates, color testing, laying out graphics and keeping them moving through the review process with editorial, production (illustrator and photoshop work as needed), reviewing proofs, supervising install of graphics as needed, producing and mounting temporary graphics when needed. Coordination with other graphic designers, 3D designers, editorial, media and vendors as needed. Assisting in the production of files: production of spreadsheets for pricing, updating content and revising graphic files, releasing files, production tracking and supervision: reviewing proofs, ensuring that graphics arrive on time.
