Leckie Studio Architecture + Design is currently searching for a Senior Interior Designer to work in person at their Vancouver, BC office.

Skills

  • Strong conceptual design and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to co-ordinate and/or undertake the selection and specification of furniture systems, fixtures and equipment
  • Ability to successfully manage priorities and conflicting deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated team player and team leader mindset with interest in working collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English)
  • Previous work experience in an architecture studio will be considered an asset
  • Special consideration for those with work experience in British Columbia

Qualifications

  • Degree/diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Minimum of 7-10 years residential and commercial interior design experience
  • Strong working knowledge of BCBC and local zoning by-laws
  • Strong technical knowledge in interior detailing
  • Experience creating working drawings and construction documents
  • Experience leading construction administration
  • Experience with establishing and maintaining project budgeting and scheduling
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite
