Job Overview

Dubbeldam Inc. Architecture + Design are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Coordinator / Marketing Manager with a versatile skill set and a passion for design and architecture to fill a marketing role in the practice’s studio. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the firm’s brand, promoting their services, and supporting business development efforts. Working closely with the Management Team and the Principal, you will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives which includes preparing assets for marketing their projects and their practice, brand collateral, executing the social media strategy, exploring new opportunities for the practice, and developing proposals and other materials for pursuits.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about design, architecture and sustainability in the built environment
  • Minimum two-years experience in a similar marketing capacity, ideally in the AEC or Design industry
  • Relevant education in Marketing & Communications and/or Graphic Design is an asset
  • Exceptional graphic design skills with solid working experience using Adobe Creative Suite
    (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to play an active role in the growth and culture of the practice
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, responsible and passionate about the work while maintaining the highest level of
    rigor and attention to detail
  • Confidence to engage and communicate with business contacts around the world
  • Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills; Fluency in English (written &
    spoken) is a must
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Social media savvy with experience preparing and executing a social media strategy; proficiency with Meta (Instagram/Facebook), LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Experience maintaining a website (WordPress CMS experience an asset).

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires candidates to take initiative and follow through on a wide range of tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Developing marketing strategies for their projects, activities and the practice
  • Developing marketing materials for brochures, press kits, CVs, presentations and award entries
  • Website management and social media campaigns
  • Collaborating with the Management team to identify business development opportunities and
    creating effective strategies for client acquisition.
  • Leading the development of proposals and presentations for new projects, including coordination of sub-consultant proposals, graphic layout, and content writing.
  • Managing relationships with media outlets, coordinating press releases, and seeking opportunities
    for media coverage in print and online.
  • Planning and coordinating the practice’s participation in industry events and assisting the Principals in the preparation of slide decks for lectures and talks.
