‍Studio Paolo Ferrari is seeking a Project/Technical Lead to join team to lead exceptional interior design projects for renowned international brands across luxury hospitality and residential sectors. You will collaborate with an award-winning team on projects that are conceptually rich, meticulously detailed and created for some of the world’s most respected brands and clients. This is an opportunity to contribute to ambitious, design-forward work that spans continents and disciplines.

The Project/Technical Lead is responsible for the successful delivery of hospitality and luxury environments, leading projects from concept through execution while balancing design integrity, technical coordination, team performance and client outcomes. With 10+ years of professional experience, this role oversees project direction, drives execution strategy and ensures alignment between the design vision, schedule and buildability.

Working closely with the Owner, Project Directors and senior design staff, the Project/Technical Lead leads internal teams, coordinates external consultants and clients and maintains momentum across all phases of work. This role combines leadership, communication, technical oversight and operational accountability to ensure projects are delivered with clarity, consistency and excellence.

Credentials

  • 10+ years of architectural experience within hospitality, luxury residential, or commercial environments.
  • Degree in Architecture or equivalent (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
  • Professional certification or registration is an asset ‍ ‍
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, fluent in spoken and written English‍ ‍
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite and other project management softwares
  • Proficiency in Revit is considered a bonus.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

‍‍Responsibilities

  • ‍ Demonstrated experience leading large-scale or complex projects through all project phases.
  • Acts as the primary point of leadership and coordination between clients, and consultants with senior team members, and internal teams.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers and project team members.
  • ‍Leads client presentations as required, internal project discussions, and coordination meetings with professionalism and clarity.
  • ‍ Navigates complex conversations and project challenges while maintaining trust, alignment and confidence across teams.
  • ‍ Builds strong client relationships through responsiveness, leadership, accountability and strategic communication.
  • ‍ Reviews presentations and technical drawing packages to ensure design intent is clearly and accurately conveyed and contract deliverables are met.
  • ‍ Creates master project schedules and leads scheduling discussion with the client and internal team.
