Restoration Hardware is seeking a Rendering Specialist to join their Toronto team that will play a crucial role in supporting key phases of a design project’s lifecycle in collaboration and partnership with RH Interior Design. They are innovators, detailed-oriented and passionate about interior design to ensure the integrity of production.

Rendering Specialist Expectations

  • Live and breathe Restoration Hardware’s Vision, Values, and Beliefs every day
  • Model 3D brand elevating renderings from 2D floor plans to elevate design presentations
  • Ability to apply and manipulate materials and textures to achieve desired results
  • Create balance through natural and ambient lighting
  • Produce strategic camera views to highlight primary components of a design
  • Follow formatting standards for digital assets
  • Coordinate all phases of the rendering process which includes acquiring rendering information, setting up review meetings with the Designers and updating rendering log databases
  • Help to maintain, and expand our 3D products library, materials, and textures
  • Meet target completion dates for rendering requests
  • Complete assigned tasks each day and maintain timely communications

Experience

  • Formal education in Architecture or Interior Design preferred
  • Relevant industry experience required

Technical Requirements

  • Proficiency in SketchUp (or similar modeling program) and V-ray (or similar rendering program)
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD
  • Knowledgeable with Mac operating systems, IOS Devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications

Other Requirements

  • Position entails prolonged sitting
  • Licensed to drive preferred
  • Ability to travel locally or out of state
