CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Passionate about architecture and interior design, this position requires a can-do approach to both public sector and private clients. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Produce highly detailed technical designs and drawing specifications for all stages of design using Autodesk REVIT and Cloud-Based Collaboration work process
  •  Manage, coordinate, and submit documents such as plans and specifications, construction details, and permit application
  •  Collaborate with Design Team to ensure project success and identify specific design objectives
  •  Coordinate and communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with Design Team, sub-consultants, and municipal authorities
  •  Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and adhere to Building Codes
  •  Research existing building documentation (plans, reports, etc.)
  •  Contribute to the preparation of construction and planning documents

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional diploma in Architectural Technology or degree in Architecture
  • Experience in a range of large, multi-disciplinary project types, including Commercial, Interior fit-ups, and sectors to include: Corporate, Public, Health, Hospitability, Institutional
  •  Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in commercial projects
  •  Preparation of 3D Visualization (Renderings) with 3DS Max + VRAY + Enscape considered an asset
  •  Advanced knowledge of BIM and how it can affect design projects
  •  Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Suite
  •  Team player, independent and proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines
