Sid Lee Architecture is an affiliate of the Sid Lee creative agency, with 600 globally active professionals based in the company’s Montreal, Toronto, Paris and Los Angeles offices. Founded in 2009 through the acquisition of the Nomade architectural firm, Sid Lee Architecture is led by architects and senior partners Jean Pelland and Martin Leblanc. The team includes some 60 architecture and interior design professionals. The firm offers a wide range of services: urban analysis and development strategy, mixed-use developments, multi-unit residential projects, leisure and hospitality, corporate office design and retail.
Role
Reporting to the Technical Director, the Architectural Technologist is responsible for using their technical knowledge to support the development of various complex and long-term projects.
Tasks
- Produce and review technical plans, from sketches to production drawings
- Evaluate the production time required for all drawings
- Ensure the coordination of documents for which you are responsible
- Research and select technical products and material
- Provide technical support to the team during projects, as needed
- Ensure efficient communication between the team, the client and stakeholders
- Propose innovative technical solutions
- Coordinate and contribute to the development of the current technical team
- Act as an office representative in front of clients and third parties
- Manage and supervise field work

Requirements
- Degree in architectural technology (DCS)
- At least 10 years of experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit
