Falken Reynolds is currently seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their Vancouver office. You will lead and manage multiple projects from discovery through concept and design development, drawing and specification packages for permits, pricing and construction and contract administration. You will manage the entire process of selecting, procuring and installing furniture, art and accessories as well as prepare homes for client move in and photographing for international publication. You will work closely with a principle and the rest of the design team.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree, preferably in Interior Design or Architecture (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 8 years work experience in private home Interior Design (Mandatory)
  • 5+ years leading projects including budgets and schedules (Mandatory)
  • Working knowledge of BC Building Code & Vancouver Building By-Laws (Mandatory)
  • Software proficiency: Vectorworks, Rhino, MS Office, Photoshop, Adobe, database programs (Mandatory)
  • Driver’s license and access to car (car share membership, etc.) (Mandatory)
  • Experience working with luxury products, details and projects
  • Experience working with clients who are at the top of their game
  • Experience managing and producing drawing and specification packages for client presentation, permit and construction
  • Experience with contract administration and co-ordinating construction details with contractors, trades and
  • suppliers
