Linq Task Chair Jonathan Prestwich Davis Furniture

Defined by its fluid nature-inspired lines and sculpted back, the Linq task chair by London-based designer Jonathan Prestwich (originally introduced in 2015) complements a comfortable live-work balance through its “plug and play” capabilities that intuitively adapts and reacts to the needs of each individual user.

Using “organic engineering,” Prestwich and Davis Furniture developed a tailored knit backrest that is able to offer both support and flexibility and reduces areas of concentrated pressure on the back, which promotes better posture; a weight-activated mechanism seamlessly mimics the body’s natural movements.

Most recently, a new selection of knits has been introduced to expand on the original options. Enhancing the materials’ flexibility and breathability, the additions prioritize the user-centric design of Linq while offering handsome alternatives for the seat and back.

The polyester-blend knits, one transparent and one opaque, are each offered in four deep neutrals – Charcoal, Glacier Grey, Midnight Blue and True Black – and are paired with flexible plastic frames in either Black, Mid Grey or Light Grey.

Linq’s signature Y-frame and five-star caster base are offered in polished aluminum or one of more than 30 standard powder-coated colourways.
