A commitment to preservation and sustainable design initiatives is a key feature of the program, offered through UVA’s School of Landscape Architecture. The program stresses landscape’s role in transforming the broader constructed environment by emphasizing deep linkages between site and systems, form and processes, practices and values. Highlighting the building of regenerative landscapes, students become entrenched in the design, site technology and construction methods of planning and building landscapes of all sizes.
