Originally designed for textile manufacturers Febrik and Kvadrat’s 2020 exhibition “Knit project!,” Big Talk by Syndey-based designer Adam Goodrum for Blå Station is a bold, colourful and inviting seating system that can be used alone or grouped together.

Consisting of a thick 42-centimetre-tall seat surrounded by a tubular arm and backrest (both made of moulded foam), the plush chair is finished in a series of vibrant bands of alternating fabric that creates a “spectrum of graduated coloured bands” across the back according to Goodrum.

Each Big Talk chair is also designed to abut one another, resulting in an undulating S-shaped configuration that references Victorian love seats. A wide range of Febrik upholstery in various colourways is available.
