Designed by German studio Rudolph Schelling Webermann for Normann Copenhagen, the Jam bookcase is comprised of only three elements: flat shelves, slender pools and a conical wedge that holds them all together.

The unique shape of the wedge supports the poles using gravity and tension, meaning the bookcase is assembled without the need for tools and hardware. Gently rounded corners on the chipboard and oak veneer shelves give the units a versatile aesthetic, one that suits both large shared offices and private residences.

The poles are made from solid oak and the wedges – in grey or blue – are polypropylene. Two sizes are available.
