Pacha Outdoor collection by Gubi

When French designer Pierre Paulin originally launched the Pacha lounge chair in 1975, its legless, low-slung form brought a new dimension to laid-back lounging. Now, Gubi brings that experience of “sitting on a cloud” to the outside.

The modular and configurable elements of Gubi’s Pacha Outdoor — a lounge chair (with or without armrests), two-, three- and four-seater sofas and ottoman — express a seriously playful attitude while staying true to Paulin’s undeniable sculptural sensibility.

To make the iconic pieces suitable for the outdoors, a special breathable and water-resistant membrane interlayer was developed to ensure that they dry quickly after a rainfall and the bases are made from moisture-resistant plywood and include a full-swivel mechanism in stainless steel.
