Swedish architects Claesson Koivisto Rune’s Palladio Shelves have a deceptively simple structural makeup. Vertical dowels support the flat shelves through a near-invisible attachment joint, creating a clean visual look, with the rounded corners further softening the aesthetic. The shelves are 50-millimetre-thick MDF (with honeycomb core) and available in a standard oil finish or textured lacquer; supports are sanded, polished or powder-coated stainless steel.
