Resembling a joyful arrangement of colourful cardboard offcuts, the Patcha series of rugs by Patricia Urquiola for CC-Tapis exemplifies both her own and the brand’s unparalleled creativity.

Patcha’s name is inspired by the literal “patches” of colour that compose the rug, in vibrant pastel hues such as Mint, Burgundy, and Grey. The Patcha rugs are also high quality, with 125.000 knots per square metre. This alone makes these tapestries — which overlap various pile heights and hues of lavender, taupe and burgundy with speckled technicolor fields — worthy of passing on from one generation to the next.

The rugs are handmade in Nepal, of Himalayan wool and recycled silk. Available in a variety of sizes.
