Rhyme & Reason upholstery textiles by Carnegie

Taking inspiration from the Parisian weavers of Chanel’s iconic tweeds and plaids, Carnegie’s Rhyme & Reason collection of six upholstery fabrics boast luxurious texture and are suitable for a variety of settings where practicality and cleanability are required. Along with upholstery, a number of the fabrics in the offerings are suitable for drapery and panel applications. 

Bijoux, a flamé velvet with a subtle sheen, is finish-free and able to withstand 100,000 double rubs on the Wyzenbeek scale. Available in 12 sumputious colourways, the tactile fabric can be applied as upholstery, drapery and on panels.

A lattice-like arrangement of hexagons embellished with dots of colour give Junction (above in blue and pink) vibrancy and movement; bleach-cleanable the upholstery and panel fabric is made from 53 per cent post-consumer recycled content and is offered in seven colourways. From the Element Line, the ultra-plush Sonata (above in shades of blue and pink) is resistant to marks and is ideal for use as upholstery or panel applications in high-traffic spaces and is available 16 solid colourways. Blending soft chenille and bouclé yarns, Sonnet has a nubby texture and stain-resistant finish and comes in eight timeless colourways. 

Putting a modern spin on traditional plaid patterns, Reverb features a face with multi-coloured stitching for a sense of depth and movement. Bleach-cleanable available in seven colourways that range for muted to rich, the upholstery fabric is free from additives.

With flecks of colour on its velvety base, Dapple has an understated yet beautiful abstract quality with subtle luster that is suitable for high-end environments. Available in four elegant colourways.
