When devising Romb Mini table lamp, Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle of Stockholm studio Broberg & Ridderstråle were inspired by sheets of corrugated cardboard — a material they often use when crafting architectural prototypes.

The resultant lamp has a compelling geometric appearance that intentionally plays with the idea of what form a light can take.

The first rechargeable lamp for Swedish manufacturer Pholc, the pint-sized lantern has a rechargeable battery and is suitable for use indoors and outdoors, in both private homes and commercial settings.

Equipped with a three-level dimmer and white PVC charging cable, it can emit ambient light for up to four hours (depending on the dim setting). Made from metal, the Romb Mini is offered in four muted colourways: Cotton, Cumin, Blue Stone and Vanilla.
