To create its first-ever outdoor-intended collection of composite quartz surfaces, Caesarstone developed a special resin that contributes weather-endearing properties to allow the material to be able to withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures (typical to North American climate), including snow and rain. Called Solaris, the series includes three neutral colours and can be used to create outdoor kitchens, countertops and backsplashes.

With its milky white base and charcoal grey veining, 516 Palm Shade (above) effectively mimics the look of classic marble and is designed to bring a touch of lightness to natural settings.

The darkest of the three, 406 Clearskies (above) has the look of smooth concrete scattered with tiny flecks for depth and interest.

405 Midday (above), a mid-tone grey/white, is suited to complement neutral tiling, stone and light wooden decking and makes a stylish counterpoint to lush greenery.

Non-porous and easily cleaned with soap and water, the Solaris surfaces have been engineered to withstand UV rays and are also scratch-resistant.
