British firm Carmody Groarke used Soundcel – a highly adhesive, recycled-pulp-paper-based spray insulation – on the temporary walls that shaped the London Design Museum’s 2017 Beazley Designs of the Year exhibition. Traditionally used on ceilings, the material reduces echo and reverberations.
