Stille Shelving, Standard Issue

An interpretation of mid-century Danish architect and industrialist Poul Cadovius’s Abstracta System of shelving from the 1960s, the Stille collection by Standard Issue is comprised of five table and shelving modules: coffee tables, side tables, bedside tables, media consoles and multi-purpose shelving units.

The Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary studio uses steel tubes and cast zinc connectors to produce the series of clean-lined units with geometric silhouettes, with the pieces being manufactured by Kalamazoo, Michigan’s Consort Display Group (the company which owns the Abstracta tooling system and trademarks). A wide variety of colourways are available, from subdued neutrals to vibrant and bold hues.
