Turning to an unlikely source for inspiration – the craft of flower pressing – the Subtle Impressions collection of carpet tiles features an artful mix of watercolour-like patterns, vibrant colours and unique textures thanks to a yarn technique that combines three threads of different weight.

The palette was derived by blending hundreds of flower petals, stems and leaves to create pigments that were then extracted and transferred to cloth, with the outlines and shadows creating scale and contrast, before being digitally rendered on the carpeting. The resulting patterns are artful and organic, with gradation effects allowing for customization of colour and saturation to create transition through spaces.

Comprised of three nature-inspired motifs (Floraculture, Perennial and Pressed) in a wide range of soothing colour combinations, the collection is intended to enhance wellbeing in a built environment and can be installed as offset, monolithIc, brick, herringbone, ashlar or staggered.
