By pairing futuristic shapes with clean lines in a compelling way, Franco-Italian designer Julia Chiaramonti has created a stunning set of tables that offer both form and function.

Playing with materials, the designer gave both the Tavolo2 dining table and the Tavolino2 side table a sculptural wavy base, made from a single plate of lacquered or powder-coated aluminum that has been folded numerous times.

Countering the expressive qualities of the contoured support are thin oval-shaped glass surfaces that allow for a top-down perspective of the undulating design.

The four colourways for the bases – Beige Red, Fango Green, Ultramarine Blue and Smoky Grey – are each paired with a complementary glass surface colour, in Lemon, Rose, Green and Parsol Grey, respectively. Custom combinations for the bases and surfaces are also possible.
