Unilock roof deck system with grey stepping stones and tree and plant installations

In an urban environment, even the tiniest outdoor oasis is a reprieve from bustling surroundings. However, tight lots can present a design challenge. Unilock’s Roof deck System applications allow for greater usage of space by providing functionality to an often overlooked area.

Unilock architectural slabs and retaining walls come in a wide selection of shapes, textures and colours designed to deliver high aesthetic impact and maximum function in hardscapes that complement their organic counterparts.

Unilock’s roof deck applications capitalize on previously unusable space to create a functional — and attractive — outdoor amenity area. The installation technologies behind suitable pavers for rooftops and pedestal systems easily transform elevated and sloped roof surfaces into outdoor destinations that are not only practical but aesthetically beautiful.

Unilock provides a height and slope adjustable pedestal system for paver support engineered to reduce material, construction and lifecycle costs. It caters to a wide range of height requirements, from 20mm to 420mm, using three main component parts (Top, Extender and Base). Accessories include top slope-corrector, spacer tabs, rubber shims and height extenders.

The full line of Unilock architectural roof deck slabs, pavers, natural stone slabs and porcelain tile is offered in an expansive range of finish and colour options that allow design themes from on-grade applications to be continued to the rooftop, creating harmony between building site paving and outdoor spaces.

Unilock architectural slabs are offered in six thicknesses and range from 9-lbs-per-square foot to 48-lbs-per-square foot for various roof structural weight limits.
