Pink Wireline light by Flos hung in front of a wooden door

Designed by Formafantasma for Flos, Wireline sits somewhere between artistic expression and industrial design. Designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin’s latest creation represents their design ethos and aesthetic values, where functionality meets the unexpected. It’s a piece that neatly fits within the studio’s universe, where design, social responsibility, and ecology collide.

Wireline is a suspension lamp that gives off a compact and homogeneous, diffused light thanks to its diffuser, an extruded extra-clear borosilicate glass bar that contains the LED light source.

The cable, available in pink and forest green, is made of rubber. Two metal connectors fix the light bar to the belt.

The lamp is completed by two ceiling roses, one of which is placed in correspondence with the light point and contains the power supply and the dimmer.

Suitable for high ceilings, Wireline can be installed as a single suspended light or in a composition of several elements layered together, ideal for hotel and office lobbies, as well as home lofts and open spaces in residential environments.
