Entering its fourth decade, the Monterey Design Conference (MDC) brings together leading architects and design thinkers for an intellectually vibrant weekend.
Among this year’s international speakers are Petra Blaisse, of Amsterdam landscape studio Inside Outside; Yvonne Farrell of Dublin’s Grafton Architects – and the co-curator, with Shelley McNamara of the 2018 Venice architecture biennial; Rome-based architects Massimiliano Fuksas and Doriana Mandrelli Fuksas; Alberto Kalach, of Mexico City’s Kalach & Taller de Arquitectura X (TAX); and Shanghai’s Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu.
From North America, the speaker roster also includes Bob Harris, of Lake|Flato in Austin/San Antonio; and Halifax architect Brian MacKay-Lyons.
