In 2018 the Veneto Region officially designated The Venice Glass Week as one of the “major events” taking place within its borders, and this important status has been conferred on the festival once again in 2019.  The third edition of the international festival dedicated to the art of glass, which was conceived to celebrate the artistic and economic resource for which the lagoon city is renowned worldwide, is an event that will again involve Venice, Murano and the surrounding mainland in a highly collaborative way.
