Six new anodized aluminum finishes have been added to Banker Wire’s DS-9 series of opaque woven wire mesh, for interior and exterior applications.
Suitable for a variety of architectural and industrial projects, the aluminum mesh is pre-crimped and then woven together on a loom, which allows for a greater degree of control during the weaving process resulting in intricate patterns and customization opportunities.
The lightweight aluminum material can now be anodized in six colour-fast matte options – Champagne, Dark Bronze, Light Bronze, Black, Clear and Gold – that are ideal for sophisticated installations in commercial buildings, multi-family and private homes, hospitality settings and other spaces.
An opaque-style mesh, DS-9 is made using tooling that evenly crushes the wires before weaving; the flattened ovals nest seamlessly together in the form of a solid sheet for easy-to-install surface applications. The finishes are resistant to chipping and peeling.
