Stained glass can enhance an architectural space, as the light that passes through creates animation of patters on walls and floor. Traditionally used in churches and other holy buildings, today, it is not uncommon to find stained glass in cultural buildings, hotels, art installations and even shopping malls. Wherever it is found, it is sure that these spaces will be magical.
First coming to prominence in the Middle Ages, stained glass has been enhancing buildings around the world for thousands of years. Join the CAC as we explore architecturally significant buildings on Michigan Avenue that feature the magic of stained glass.
